Abe’s Bar

A rare gem in the desert, established in 1929 by Tirso Trujillo, whom homestead in Tumacácori Az in 1916. Triso followed his Father and Uncle to Tumacácori, who also homestead late 1800’s in the Tumacácori Mountains to raise cattle. Triso saw his older sister, Maria Trujillo, thrive with an all-in-one gas station she built right across the street from Father Kino’s Church (Tumacácori National Historical Park). He then built his bar 20 feet from her gas station. And its doors have been open since.
